Are you passionate about advancing hospice education and empowering healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality care? Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead the way in developing and delivering impactful training programs for our clinical and non-clinical teams.

 

In this role, you’ll use your advanced clinical expertise to shape the future of hospice care by equipping our staff with the skills and knowledge needed to provide safe, compassionate, and compliant care to patients and families. You’ll also play a key part in fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation—both within our team and through partnerships with external care providers.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:
✅ Design, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs for staff and volunteers
✅ Collaborate with leadership to align training with compliance and patient care standards
✅ Promote a culture of learning and professional growth across the organization
✅ Build strong partnerships with healthcare providers to expand hospice education opportunities
✅ Represent Good Shepherd Hospice at local, regional, and national meetings
✅ Serve as a trusted resource, mentor, and leader for clinical excellence

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Current Registered Nurse license
✔️ Demonstrated expertise in teaching and clinical education
✔️ Proven leadership and project management experience
✔️ Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
✔️ Ability to inspire, influence, and motivate at all levels
✔️ Willingness to travel weekly to regional hospice locations
