Overview

Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to C-Suite leadership. This role extends beyond traditional administrative duties and serves as a trusted partner to senior executives by managing priorities, supporting people-focused initiatives, and driving operational and organizational efficiency.

 

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrates exceptional judgment, and brings a strong understanding of organizational support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex executive calendars, communications, and stakeholder interactions while prioritizing people-related and organizational needs.

  • Coordinate travel, meetings, and events to ensure seamless executive support.

  • Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and briefing materials for leadership and board review.

  • Anticipate executive needs, proactively resolve issues, and remove obstacles to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Handle confidential information, records, and expense processing with the highest level of discretion and compliance.

  • Support or lead cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and accountability are met.
  • Facilitate meetings, develop agendas, track action items, and follow up on next steps.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-Suite executives (CEO, COO, CFO, or similar) in a fast-paced, mid-to-large organization.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience supporting leadership in healthcare, hospice, or high-growth environments.
  • Background in board support or cross-functional project coordination.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to adapt proactively across all levels of the organization.
